Japan Beautiful Autumn Spots

Autumn is a excellent season to visit Japan with the surrounding mountains slowing changing color to a beautiful autumn Orange and Red!

The phenomenon that the leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs take on red hue all at once is called “Koyo” (red leaves/coloured leaves). During the “Koyo” season, many people visits to various autumn tint viewing spots. (Hakone, Takayama, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji are some of the popular viewing spots)

The leaves begin to change their colour slowly at first when the daytime temperature drops to lower than 10 degree centigrade and then more rapidly after it drops down to below 5 degrees. It is said that the leaves get more brightly coloured when the temperature difference between the summer and the autumn is bigger, that is to say, when the temperature is very high in the summer and drops sharply in the autumn, the coloured leaves are more beautiful. We had a very hot summer this year. We think, we will have beautiful, brightly coloured leaves in this autumn. We recommend 4 autumn tint viewing spots in Japan. (Hakone, Takayama, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji are some of the popular viewing spots)
