Kyoto Geisha Performance + Dinner

The beguiling, intriguing symbols of the art and tradition of Kyoto, Geisha, exist in a rare world that is usually not open to the general public let alone international visitors. The word Geisha literally means person of art, and Geisha are, indeed, finely schooled in a variety of traditional arts including classical dancing and playing of musical instruments.

Opportunities to watch Maiko, apprentice geisha, perform are few and far between as reservations can be very difficult to secure. With this dinner tour, not only will participants be able to watch an authentic maiko performance, but they will also enjoy an exquisite Kyoto-style kaiseki dinner (a traditional, Japanese meal), all from the open-air riverside terrace of Momijiya Restaurant. Don’t miss this culturally-rich activity!

Prices include the following:
-Performance by a real Maiko `Geisha Apprentice`
-Full Course Exquisite Kyoto-Style Kaiseki Dinner
-Hotel Pick-up and Drop-off at selected major hotels in Kyoto

Available starting in June.
Days: (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights)
